Have I Made It?

This website presents the extended research project of Cynthia Mangueira, beginning with Angola’s prehistoric rock art and reimagining it as something living, shared, and evolving. Through research, workshops, and studio practice, Cynthia explores how ancient symbols can spark a new visual language. At its core, the project celebrates facilitation and teaching—inviting others to co-create symbols and stories that connect memory, heritage, and imagination to identity in the present.

Guided by Afro-futurism and Neo-expressionism, and grounded in co-creation, the work frames art as more than cultural reflection: it becomes a tool for transformation, cultural appreciation, and even socio-economic growth in Angola and beyond.
